Fantastic, My son of 12 years old is a member of the Black Belt academie. I can only recomend the academy. The phisycal aspect of the training sessions with Martial art is superb, but what is more important for me as a father and for my son , is the mind development that the instructor are doing, the self confidence, the discipline all around fun and great activity. I have coach for many years personally and I am amaze by the level of work , preparation and professionalism of both Sensei , Tom and Simon. This is topped by Course and extra session offers that my son will benefit later on in life. Absolutely brilliant

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Not only does your child receive all the benefits of physical activity, the ability to defend themselves and experience group dynamics, they also learn about many important LIFE SKILLS (eg: how to introduce themselves with confidence to new people)….which is PRICELESS!!! The environment, the lessons and their goals, are all outstanding…. I mean 5 ⭐️, 10/10, remarkable and like no where else. Throughout the entire Karate lesson the children learn about respect, discipline, perseverance, endurance, focus, mental strength, and following instructions. The magic of this organisation is that it has the ability to balance what can be a very structured and disciplined karate lesson to something that is enjoyable, engaging and fun. This I attribute to the remarkable talent of Sensei Simon and Sensei Tom. They absolutely command the room in an honourable way, and treat the children with kindness, compassion and respect. In the end, the children demonstrate and mirror back the exact behaviour being shown to them. And if they don’t, Sensei Simon and Sensei Tom know exactly how to encourage the children to do it, but in a very firm and practical way. It is remarkable to watch. This Black Belt Academy is without a doubt the best extra-curricular activity I have enrolled my child in. It checks off all the boxes you’d ever want for your child. As an aside, I also randomly ran into a young lady in her early 20’s who saw my son wearing his Karate uniform. She stopped me and said, Sensei Simon changed my life. He has helped me create a solid foundation of strength and confidence in every area of my life. I’m a black belt and am grateful everyday for his program. Now that’s results!!!! Do not hesitate to sign up. You’ll never regret it!

The Black belt academy are great place to send your children to improve their confidence. The classes are fun and challenging and all of the children have so much fun!

I couldn’t recommend The Black Belt Academy more highly. My son has only been training with the academy at Littledown since the start of the year but really felt like he ‘belonged’ from day one. Everyone is noticed, valued and respected. The programme is so well thought through; he is thoroughly enjoying learning karate, which is evenly balanced with emphases on discipline and confidence. It’s doing wonders for his overall development and wellbeing. There’s nothing not to love!

We cannot praise The Black Belt Academy enough, for guiding our daughter (age 9) from complete beginner, to the increasingly confident and surprisingly strong (!) young lady that she is becoming, in the 4 months she has been a member.
